さて、こちらのFather To Sonの曲紹介に戻りますが、これはブライアンが作った曲です。
後にクイーンサウンドの代名詞とも呼ばれることになるギターオーケストレーションをレコーディングで初めて取り入れたのがこの曲になります。
何層にも重ねて老オンされたギターオーケストレーションで、詞は、ブライアンの父、ハロルドメイが息子ブライアンに宛てた手紙という設定で書かれたものになります。
