といっても、この曲はアルバム自体の途中に収録されている曲で、最後に来る曲ではありません。

タイトルが似ているので、間違えそうですが、前回紹介したrevisitedの方は今回紹介するIn the lap of the Godsがポジティブなのに対し、ネガティブな印象があります。
In the lap of the Godsは神の怒りのような耳をつんざくロジャーのファルセット・ヴォイスで仰々しく始まります。
流麗なピアノに続くと一転してフレディの低音ボイスを聞くことが出来、二人のヴォーカリストが見せるこの対比が鮮やかです😊
