歌手に登場するスティーブは、俗語でジーンズのことを指し、スティーヴ・マックイーンから取ったのではないかと考えられています。描かれた背景は、アメリカ映画によくある「ギャングスター」の世界です。ジーンズもマックイーンもアメリカを象徴するものであることから、ジョンが描いたアメリカに対するオマージュだったのでしょう☺️✨
