サイモン&ガーファンクルのThe Sound of Silenceを紹介します
1stアルバム「Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.」に収録されています。
サウンド・オブ・サイレンスを直訳すると静寂の音になりますが、私はタイトルは訳さずそのままサウンド・オブ・サイレンスでいいのではないかなと思います。
メロディーが個人的に聞き入ってしまうほど美しいです。そして歌詞の内容は詩的で訳すのが難しかったです^^;
この美しい曲調がサイモン&ガーファンクルの世界を表しているのでないかと思います。
この歌を聴いてると、なぜだか涙が出そうになります。
